The Arts are an essential element in the well-rounded development of a child’s education. Many educational facilities do not offer any type of arts education, or a very limited curriculum for arts education. The Superstition Cultural Alliance (SACA) is helping to bridge that gap by presenting the Arts Olympics.

This program offers students age 6-18 a chance to gain exposure to the arts and get hands-on instruction by current art professionals. The program is designed to give attendees a brief overview of a specific arts discipline and to help attendees identify an area of the arts that appeals to them. The Arts Olympics has been endorsed by the Apache Junction Unified School District.

The classes are limited in size so that there is an intimate classroom atmosphere and the ability to interact personally with the instructor. Students must participate in three (3) events at the Arts Olympics. Classes are 50 minutes in length. A materials list will be provided for each class. Registration is extremely limited, so please register early. When all classes are full, registration will stop.
